UK Register of Overseas Entities: Update to Declaration Postponed from July 2025 to an Undetermined Date
The change expected on July 31, 2025, regarding overseas entities registered in the Register of Overseas Entities (ROE) has been postponed to a later date.

Overseas entities that, between February 28, 2022, and January 31, 2023, bought or held property in the UK must still report any changes to their beneficial owners and structure, including trusts, during the pre-registration period. However, the deadline for submitting this information has been delayed. Companies House will send more details soon with the new deadline.

While waiting for the new rules, it is recommended to start gathering the necessary information now so you are ready once the new deadline is set.

Our office is available to support you in all stages of compliance, from collecting data to verifying and submitting the statement, as soon as the new details are available.
