ARB S.B.P.A., an innovative SME specialising in sustainability analyses and plans for companies, which will become a public limited company in 2021, has a new corporate structure following the closing on 29 May. Ada Rosa Balzan, founder, CEO and majority shareholder of ARB S.B.P.A., took over 100% of the shares of ARB from the shareholders ISA (Istituto Atesino di Sviluppo), Solfin Turismo and Meld, who sold 32.20%, 2.68% and 1.88% of the shares respectively.
The outgoing shareholders, represented by Professor Giovanni Pegoretti, Chairman of the company since 2021, expressed their satisfaction with the strong development of the company in recent years.
ARB was founded in 2016 in Trento by Ada Rosa Balzan, an environmental sociologist and one of Italy’s leading sustainability experts. Today, ARB is an innovative SME, a qualified partner for the development of sustainability projects for small and medium-sized companies up to large multinationals. The company has created the SI Rating® – Sustainability Impact Rating, the first algorithm based on internationally recognised tools to calculate the level of sustainability – environmental, social and governance – of companies.
ARB has a young team, with an average age of around 35, made up of university professors and professionals specialised in the various ESG fields. The company, in accordance with the founder’s own wishes, continues to maintain a scientific approach and a Research and Development Centre approach that is constantly updated and evolving to provide customised solutions that highlight the specificities of the companies it serves in the various sectors.
