The new firm will be called “Belluzzo Mercanti” in the domestic market and will bring the total worldwide number of professionals collaborating with Belluzzo International Partners to 73, of which 27 are partners. The union has plans for significant growth in Italy, by combining Belluzzo’s expertise in International wealth and tax with Mercanti’s excellence in their areas of legal competence.
Belluzzo Mercanti creates an independent, international and multijurisdictional firm in Italy, that offers high quality, tailor-made services to a portfolio of clients in the areas of national and international tax systems, transfer pricing, wealth planning, trusts, generational changes as well as banking, finance, civil, commercial, company and real estate law, integrating the pre-existing international presence of Belluzzo International Partners.
The merger strengthens our position in wealth, tax and finance law allowing us to maintain an excellent position, particularly as a one-firm firm for family businesses, in Italy, in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore and in the main financial hubs where our correspondents are situated.
