The founding partner Alessandro Belluzzo joined Giornale Radio to discuss one of the most debated topics of recent months: the alleged “exodus” of non-doms from the United Kingdom following the UK tax reform that abolished the historic preferential non-dom regime.
During the interview, the discussion focused on the international mobility of high-net-worth individuals, the jurisdictions currently considered most attractive — including Dubai, Italy and Switzerland — and the transformation of London, which continues to play a central role for entrepreneurs, investors and international families, particularly those coming from the United States and Asia.
The departure of non-doms, estimated at around 30% according to recent analyses, should not however be misunderstood: at the same time, a significant number of new international residents are relocating to the UK, especially from the United States and Asia.
Rather than a simple exodus, the phenomenon appears to reflect a broader international reorganisation of wealth, tax residency and global wealth structures.
